Get To Know Squat?

Written by

Starting Monday January 21st, JTSstrength.com is brining you SQUAT WEEK! Six days dedicated to the king of all lifts, the squat. All this week we will have articles to help you improve everything about your squat; from programming to mobility to technique and nutrition, everything you need to know about squatting will be covered.

Team Juggernaut is home to some of the best squatters in the World. With All-Time World and American Record holders (I’m talking REAL Records, none of this XYZ Federation Master’s Police/Fire World Record nonsense) and 4 athletes with 800+ pound raw squats in competition, Juggernaut is the squatting authority!

Each day we will be brining you new articles, including the How I Built My Best Squat series which will show you the favorite assistance movement used by different members of Team Juggernaut to help them skyrocket their squats. Also throughout the week we will have squat training Q&As on Facebook and Twitter (@JgrnautTraining). Team Juggernaut will also be coaching your squatting videos using Coach’s Eye, like this…

Also during squat week we will be having a Squat Off, where you the Juggernaut Fans and Readers can win free JTS gear from our brand new line of apparel. The Juggernaut Squat Off is a rep challenge with several different categories…

For our Juggernettes (that is Lady Juggernauts) squat 135, 185 or 225 for as many reps as possible

For the men squat 225, 315, 405 or 495 for as many reps as possible

For men and women squat 1.5, 2 or 2.5 times your bodyweight for as many reps as possible

For the % of Bodyweight challenge, we will just trust you on how much you weigh, so don’t BS us. Make sure you all take a good quality video that we can judge depth on (side view is preferred) and post the link to your video on the Juggernaut Facebook Page. Squat On!

Check out the rundown of the articles and more coming your way during JTSstrength.com’s SQUAT WEEK…
