Discus throwers are some of the most powerful athletes in the World and Jared Schuurmans is the US’s best. Jared competed at tiny Doane College in Nebraska, where he started as a 6’4″ 180# decathlete and has now grown into a 6’5″ 275# powerhouse. Jared owns a PR of 66.10m/216’10” in the discus and won the 2015 USATF National Championship. Jared and Juggernaut’s Chad Wesley Smith even competed against each other several times in college.
