Medicine Ball Throws for Explosive Power Development

Written by

Chad and Juggernaut athlete Blake Rodgers (U of Washington bound linebacker) demonstrate some of Juggernaut’s favorite variations to build explosive strength throughout the entire body. Medicine ball throws are a great tool to develop explosive power because of uninhibited triple extension, multi directional/planar movement, high velocities achieved and ease of learning the movement. Medicine ball throws can also be used as special strength exercises for a variety of athletes.
