Juggernaut Powerlifting Clinics will help you improve as an athlete and coach through gaining a better understanding of short and long term training strategies, as well as improving technique in the Squat, Bench and Deadlift. Lead by Juggernaut founder Chad Wesley Smith these events combine lecture and hands-on coaching for an immersive experience that will benefit lifters from Beginner to Advanced. Juggernaut Powerlifting Clinics (E1014-F24B1) have been approved for .6 CEUs by the NSCA.
Day 1-Program Design Workshop
This 150 minute lecture and Q&A based event will help you better understand how to practically apply the Scientific Principles of Strength Training to your program creation. Chad gives particular attention to helping you understand how to find a specific athlete’s Minimum Effective Volume and Maximum Recoverable Volume, as well as Optimal Frequency and how to best distribute that volume throughout the week with the exercises best suited to address your weak points.
The goal of this part of the event is to help you create a totally individualized training block by the end of the workshop and further your understanding of Juggernaut’s program design principles so that you are equipped to design programs for any variety of clients and for the rest of your lifting career.
Day 2-Powerlifting Technique Workshop
Our Powerlifting Technique Workshop aims to improve your movement and technique in the Squat, Bench and Deadlift through hands-on coaching by our expert staff. We will cover how to improve stability and mobility for each lift through a well structured warmup. From there, we will train each of the lifts, coaching your technique, helping you refine your movement to maximize strength and longevity. The Powerlifting Technique Workshop will also feature discussion of how to best utilize exercise variations to improve your weak points and technique. We will also address how to improve mindset towards training and competition. Lifters of all ability levels are welcome.
